Wanda Henderson is a motivated, personable, business professional with over 28 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She places a very high standard on learning and she is sensitive to the needs of children. She seeks ways to keep the children engaged and excited about learning.
She is a diligent worker and maintains a standard for excellence in all she does. She has an incredible love for children, as evidenced by her commitment, dedication and her burning desire to see them excel in all they strive to do. In June 2012, she opened the Milestone Academy & Child Development Center, in Montevallo, AL which has outgrown it’s initial location and expanded into a larger facility. Her second location, will be opening in September of 2022 in Jemison Alabama.
She has a firm belief that "children are our future and if we can steer them in a positive direction, educationally, socially, and mentally, we can aid in making the world a better place.”
